Frequently asked questions.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK A CHARTER?

Ideally 5–7 days ahead, but we regularly accommodate next-day—or even same-day—trips when needed.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO FLY PRIVATE?

Pricing depends on the type of aircraft, the flight time, and how many people are flying. Whether you’re planning a short regional trip or a longer cross-country mission, we tailor each quote to fit your needs.

Most one-way private flights fall somewhere between $8,000 and $40,000, with shared costs often comparable to first-class—just without the hassle.

Every trip is different. Reach out to our sales team, and we’ll walk you through the options that make the most sense for you.

WHAT TYPES OF AIRCRAFT CAN I CHARTER THROUGH ORIGIN?

We can source everything from small turboprops to long-range jets. It depends on your destination, passenger count, and budget—and we’ll guide you to the best fit.

CAN I BRING PETS, LUGGAGE, OR GOLF CLUBS?

Yes. Just let us know ahead of time so we can match you with the right aircraft for your gear (or your pup).

DO I NEED A PASSPORT OR ID?

For domestic flights, a valid ID is all you need. For international trips, all passengers must have passports.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS LIKE ON FLIGHT DAY?

You’ll pull up to a private terminal, usually park right at the door, and walk straight onto the plane. No security lines. No boarding groups. Just fly.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE?

Each operator has their own cancellation terms. We’ll explain those clearly up front and always advocate on your behalf if things change.

CAN I SPLIT THE COST WITH FRIENDS OR COLLEAGUES?

Absolutely. That’s actually one of the smartest ways to fly—we’ll help you break down costs per seat if needed.

DO YOU OFFER ROUND TRIPS OR OVERNIGHT ITINERARIES?

Yes. Whether you’re flying same-day or staying overnight, we’ll help design the most efficient and cost-effective flight plan.

HOW DO YOU ENSURE SAFETY AND CHOOSE PILOTS?

Safety is our top priority. We only work with FAA Part 135-certified operators who meet strict requirements for maintenance, crew training, and regulatory compliance. All pilots are highly experienced, type-rated, and meet or exceed FAA-mandated flight time and safety standards. We thoroughly vet every operator we work with—and if they don’t meet our expectations, we don’t book them. Your peace of mind is non-negotiable.

WHY ORIGIN? WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?

We’re not a giant brokerage pushing volume. We’re relationship-first, people-driven, and based right here at PDK. Whether it’s your first flight or your fiftieth, you’re never just another booking to us.
